The First Frame (or what will be, at least)

Today Brown Santa brought me the tubes, BB, dropouts, and various other sundry braze-on items for Butter Prototype #1. Cutting and mitering of tubes should commence later this week, as soon as I get the final frame design down ( and I know that everything is going to fit). Hopefully it will be built within 2 weeks, just in time for my next paycheck, which I will probably use for its components.

Very cool, keep the pictures coming so we can all live vicariously through your frame building.

I am intrigued! Enthralled! Excited! Are you building it right now? Lugs? Tig welds? I love those mustache handlebars. Keep the pictures coming.

Well, unfortunately the tubes are sitting in my basement. Like so many other well-meaning projects in life, this has been postponed (but not canceled) due to other projects, such as electric bikes (see practicalpedal.com) and some web stuff for the local cycling scene.
As for the frame, I plan on fillet brazing.
When I finally get it going you'll be able to see it on thebozemanfix.blogspot.com first.
